"We had the worst experience at this hotel. We reserved and paid in full six months in advance because we planned to meet our relatives from Ukraine and spend time around this area. When we arrived, the staff transferred our reservation to another hotel without our consent. They claimed due to electrical issue in the room. We believe it was because we paid at a lower price six months ago and the current price went up. They over booked and they decided to cancel ours so I they can offer our rooms...

"This is a charming old palace with lots of personality and the staff all were excellent. It was a welcome overnight refuge from Pisa after our plane was cancelled. Keep in mind it’s primarily a spa hotel with its own rhythms. And the food was delicious if a bit pricey. Also try the gelato shop across the street for the best gelato."

"Wir haben das Hotel gebucht mit Pool und Restaurant. Leider war der Pool in Renovation und das Restaurant und alle Gastroangebote geschlossen. Das wurde uns zwar ein paar Tage vorher per Mail angekündigt, ein Storno war aber trotzdem nicht möglich.
Das Hotel wird zwar renoviert, für uns war es enttäuschend, da auch der Preis recht hoch war."

"Where as we enjoyed our time here we did have a bit of an issue with our room temperature. We asked for it to be lowered as it was 81 degrees.
We found out, after a very uncomfortable night and requesting 2 more times, that the AC was not working. As an aside: we could not open a window as our room was on the 1st floor and only had doors to a common area. We were moved to a new room.
Other than that- the staff was lovely the pools and Spa are great. Location is wonderful with close...
