"From the fabulous staff at check in, to the gorgeous comforts of my cozy double this hotel really is quite special. If it is first class hospitality and modern yet warm luxury you are looking for then this is for you. There is even complementary gin in the room ( shame I was on business) I didn’t make it up to the roof top bar- but hear it’s amazing- but I did sit out on my beautiful balcony over looking the yachts. To finish it off the gym is pretty impressive for a hotel gym !"

"White Star is an excellent small hotel right in the middle of town with lots of options nearby. The rooms are small but extremely comfortable and clean. Free breakfast and amazing lunch and dinner options."

"After a day on the beach we were so pleased to arrive at this gorgeous gastro pub with rooms. Beautiful, and comfortable rooms with lovely style and welcoming touches, and our dog was welcomed happily and given her own bed and there was even a dog shower area outside. Dinner outside was delicious and a great breakfast menu too, traditional and healthy options also. Thoroughly recommend and hope to come back. "

"Stayed here prior to our cruise sailing. Walkable to terminal. We were so impressed. Lovely boutique and each room is unique and the attention to detail was superb. Delightful true Southampton feel with high end quality touches. We saw our ship from our window! The bar downstairs was cozy and dinner at the restaurant was a delicious finishing touch to our stay. "Great place to stay as a stop off for a night en route to the Isle of Wight. Rich in history and heritage and has a rustic charm and character while being well appointed with high end bedrooms, modern bathrooms great showers and really comfortable beds. We had 2 rooms one bigger one smaller and both were great value. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and great service. Overall a very good experience. "
