Our plans were disrupted by flight cancellations, which is understandable, but the Expedia Rep said we would receive a refund for the two nights that we were stranded. "The property is very nicely located, steps from Charing Cross station. Which is a quick to ride to any of the Gatwick trains. My biggest issue was when I arrived. There was absolutely no air-conditioning in the room. The Front Desk was very disinterested in helping. On this occasion the room was very tired looking with broken or inadequate furniture and both the room and the bathroom in need of modernisation and redecoration. The room was also very cold, the hotel heating apparently being turned off on a fixed date without any allowance given for the variable English Summer temperatures.
