"Excellent location as we were watching a show at the O2 arena. A piece of history in the middle of high rise buildings. It’s been lovingly restored and maintained with quirky design elements to it. They had great breakfast choices and had a relaxed atmosphere. I love these kinds of places. Just the relaxing weekend my husband needed."

"Bed was uncomfortable. Two single beds joined together with a thin double mattress put on top. There was a dip down the middle of the bed where there was a gap between the beds. It’s a real shame as the hotel was pleasant and very quiet."

However the staff in the restaurant (8th July morning) are quite intimidating. While we are having our breakfast they keep on coming into our table or sneak and we felt like we are being watched with their little gestures. The outside of the hotel looks great but that architectural flair isn’t carried into the interior which is dated, drab and beginning to look worn.
