Staff were really helpful, genuinely couldn’t do enough. We had travelled from Staffordshire by train and were able to leave our bags being reception until we were leaving London
The room was a lovely size and we had a travel cot let in the room for our little boy. The bathroom was really nice although instructions s on how to work the shower and which tap did what would have stopped me spraying myself in the face with the shower and attachment while trying to turn the main shower on!
The room had a coffee machine, kettle and water with plenty of tea and instant coffee options which the staff were happy to fill up if needed
Breakfast was lovely and there was a wide range of item on the buffet with all the cooked items of food being cooked well, it was a good start to the day!
The only downside really came as we were leaving the room. I was checking that my little boy hadn’t left any toys behind so I had cause to look down the side of the beds, under the beds and under the sofa. There was a LOT of dust down the side of the bed that was nearest the wall. Now I appreciate that it’s probably not easy to deep clean a room in between guests but the amount of dust present would suggest that the furniture hadn’t been moved do some time.
Ultimately I’d happily stay at this hotel again. It looks lovely, the staff and great, the food is lovely and the rooms are very comfortable.
