This hotel was conveniently located near Tottenham Court Road Station, with plenty of shops in the surrounding area. Keeping your luggage before check-in costs 5 pounds. Although the repeating water noise from the toilet was a bit distracting, the room was good enough for a one-night stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining area was completely full.

STG is an older hotel in a very, very busy part of the city, it feels built to offer as many people somewhere to stay as possible, which is important and good. That said, you’re in a very busy, around-the-clock neighbourhood, and you’ll be in a hotel that feels a bit crowded and claustrophobic compared to everything I’ve stayed in anywhere in the UK or Canada. Be ready for very long waits for the four tiny elevators, and bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything. Lots of choices for food. 2 blocks from the Underground including Elizabeth line from Heathrow. Downside side is they charge a £20 early check in fee, even if the room is ready. For the sake of 2 hours after travelling all night I paid it. I had tickets for the British Museum and that was more important. They was no option to store luggage.

My single room did exactly what I needed it to — it gave me a clean safe place to stay when traveling by myself. So conveniently close to the British Museum and I came strait from Heathrow on the Elizabeth line. The only 2 minor drawbacks were that there was no room to open my suitcase except on my bed and that there was vacuum cleaner left out on the narrow hall the whole overnight stay I was there.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful room could of been cleaner though and tea,coffee,sugar,milk there wasn't enough.. my partner is a wheel chair user but there was a couple of steps that lead to our room so he had to get out the wheelchair and I had to carry the wheelchair over the steps but part from that everything was great and staff went out there way to help

Location was amazing. Short walk to leicester sq. Check in lobby is nice. Corriders were noy well maintained and carpet a little grimey. Bathroom was clean. The hotel said it had aircon but it was just a fan. My son has severe excema and didnt sleep much.

This is a very basic hotel. The bar and reception areas are ok, but the bedroom was in desperate need of a re-furb (mildew in the bathroom). Queues for the lifts, and the stairs didn't seem like they were intended for public use (flaking paint on concrete, leading to an emergency exit). No tea/coffee making tray in the bedroom. Saw several mice in the bedroom! On the plus side, very well located in central London, and it was cheap!

Room was clean. You only get your room tidied up every 4 days. Can get towels/ to refilled anytime. Not all rooms have ac. Elevators painfully slow/inefficient. Lots of people were taking the stairs. It was good for the price. And very convenient location. Staff was helpful.

We had a basic room. Minimal storage (6 hangers 4 shelves). A basic "green" hotel with linen and towel change every 4 days. Using their system to request more towels and toilet paper was not responded to and we had to go get them ourselves. Breakfast buffet was good but not much variety. Lobby Staff were all courteous. You need to climb stairs to get to the check-in so pack light.
