 STG Hotel London Oxford Street

STG Hotel London Oxford Street

8/10 Good
"Excellent location for exploring London especially Covent Garden and theatres. Very easy self check in with helpful staff on hand. Room was basic but clean and comfortable, fine for a couple of nights. Long queues for lifts which took ages to arrive; not sure if they were working. Lugging suitcases up and down stairs was not the best. 2 restaurants - the main restaurant had a lovely outside space to sit with a glass of wine. Reasonably priced wine considering the location. The 24hr restaurant has a great menu for eating after the theatre when many restaurants have closed."

"Lovely art deco hotel in one of the best locations in London. Very close to the British Museum. Exceptionally clean, with lovely staff. Only slight downside in summer is the lack of air conditioning, but fans are supplied. Otherwise, can’t fault it. Excellent value for money."

"I arrived two hours early and they had my room ready to go! The room was a bit underwhelming after seeing the lobby, it felt like I was in a college dorm room, not a hotel. That being said, the breakfast was fantastic for the morning I was able to have it, so many options and the hotel restaurant was nice. You are within walking distance of most theater productions and the British Museum."
