A lovely second stay for us. Easy and friendly check in and an ideal location for all Londons attractions and restaurants. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the terrace and will definitely return

We had a wonderful experience at the Royal Horseguards Hotel. The location is amazing, and the property is beautiful. Our "river view" room did not disappoint, with the best view of the London Eye from anywhere in the city. We were close to everything, so were able to pop back to the hotel for breaks during the day. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

The hotel is beautiful as it is also a historic building, the service of everyone was impeccable, helpful and so friendly. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable (we got a river view and what a view!), for the international travelers it has dual voltage outlets! It’s close by a lot of activities and landmarks and so easy to get a taxi, an uber or an uber boat! Right across the street by the embankment dock. I’d recommend it over and over for sure.

I’m a London native,we were visiting from Florida. It’s a beautiful, regal and historic hotel, in the very heart of London. Our room was extremely spacious, especially for London, and well appointed. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and a bathtub, it was luxurious, but very dated. However, it was all functional. There was plenty of wardrobe space, free wine when you arrive and the mini fridge is restocked with free soft drinks, water and snacks every day. We were also given free beer, although we swapped it for Cokes, since we don’t drink it! We tried their room service, which is 24hr, but the chef goes home at eleven, so there’s a limited menu after that time. The service is very slow, but the food was delicious! We also had the breakfast buffet as part of our room price, and it was excellent, it even includes mimosas and sparkling wine! In addition to full English breakfast, they had an extensive selection of Continental favorites and lovely fresh fruit. I also had the High Tea on my own one afternoon, but I was somewhat disappointed. The presentation was lovely, and the sandwiches were nice, but the scones were small and dry, and the pastries were unappetizing. I wouldn’t recommend it. We had dinner with family who live in London one night, and we enjoyed the food, we had a three course meal, and everyone liked most of it, with a few exceptions, so I would recommend the Twenty One Two Restaurant. Overall, it’s a very good choice.

Great hotel, staff and location. We had a beautiful view of the London Eye from our room. Only small downsides were the shower had small amounts of mold and we could hear traffic and trains through the windows, but no big deal at all.

Very lovely staff, who could not have been more accommodating. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel’s location was perfect, right next to the Embankment metro station and across from the London Eye, very walkable and accessible to different areas in the city.

This property is an older, historic building in a truly prime location for anything and everything you could want to see and do in London. The service was impeccable and we will absolutely book again next time. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and attentive staff. The terrace restaurant was beautiful and they had a great kids meal. The room was spacious and bed comfortable but there was street noise and the black out curtains didn’t cover the windows well. For the price I would consider a different hotel next time.

From an immaculate and quintessentially British hotel, this place was luxurious and such a pleasure to stay in. The staff are all phenomenal which is a tough thing to say about British customer service. Their breakfasts are fire!!!

Great location to several attractions, the river, shopping, and transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable.

Staying at The Royal Horseguards was like something out of a fairytale, which just a few reality checks along the way. The hotel itself boasts old English tradition with modern day upgrades (heated bathroom floors)! The full English breakfast (included with stay) was one of the highlights of staying here! The food was divine with lots of diversity! We stayed in a garden view suite which was spacious and gorgeous, but the reality was the doors did not open so you could not enjoy the balcony and the “garden” was tree branches. I would also recommend the hotel upgrade their TVs as they had plug in chromecast devices which did not work the entire time we were there, despite telling the staff and having several people look at them. We were not in our room much so this wasn’t huge, but with the price of a stay here, it would have been nice to see it fixed properly. The mini bar (included) was also a nice touch! The only major downside was high tea- I cannot recommend enough that you do NOT do this here! It is incredibly overpriced, to start. We were led to believe the price was for the tea/ food tray. It was double that as your charged per person despite getting the same amount of tea/ food. It’s actually much cheaper at Kensington Palace (yes you heard that correctly) and with better menu options. The location was one of the best parts of this. In the heart of London, right next to Embankment station (travel by tube is incredibly easy), and across the river from the London Eye.
