"Cleaning staff appear to be a bit hit and miss these days - soap bottle left at sink open and empty as if it was going to be refilled but was forgotten about. No loo roll in the communal loo. Rooms are very hot in summer without aircon."

"The staff super friendly. Room was NOT A KING as described on Expedia. Told by front desk that is a UK king… which essentially was almost a queen. After objecting, they found us a room with two twins put together. As well as for our second room but that was a “accessible” room so not a totally acceptable change. "The location was pretty close to both Aldgate East (3-5 minute walk) and Aldgate (7-10 minute walk) stations, which made getting around the city pretty easy.
