"This is a fun, quirky place to stay in Bisbee. The old boarding house is a little difficult to get to, and I wouldn't recommend it for people with mobility challenges. You have to park away from the hotel and walk across a bridge over a channel to get to the hotel. Check-in is through the bar in the back. All of this adds to the charm. The staff was helpful, and I enjoyed spending time in the bar chatting with the owners. The decorations are charming, and the hotel has a nice little coffee service in the morning.
The Olive House is old. It is creaky, and the walls are thin. You will hear other guests. You will have to share a bathroom as well. Thankfully, it wasn't fully booked when I visited, so I didn't have any issues with either. If you can embrace the excentricities of staying in a 120 year old boarding house, you will enjoy your time here."
