Friendly staff had no card machine so they let us drop luggage while we went to cash point the shower head was broken and replaced straight away, the light went off one night was replaced again straight away and despite the website trying to charge extra for breakfast it was included anyway as standard

One nights stay in Blackpool

The gentleman that ran it was vey lovely and welcoming. We didn t really need much service from him other than to get the car out of the parking bay. Parking hidden charge of 10 pounds is not acceptable. This was not mentioned on the website. If we pay to stay somewhere and parking is available it’s courtesy we should be able to use it free of charge in my opinion. Property was clean however it was in need of a major refurb. But it was cheap and did the job we needed it too. Decor was dated. Tiles missing from bathroom. Toilet seat very loose. Table was worn. Grout was old and had black grout mold stains. I do not want the owner to be disheartened. It is what it is in Blackpool. It was definitely clean. Fresh bed linen. Tv worked. Double glazing helped the traffic noise. No ripped wallpaper. Hanging space for clothes. Tea and coffee in room. All lights worked. On a low note the Shower was weak and low pressured so we washed from the sink. The owner was very friendly. So was the handyman cleaning windows on the second floor. If it was a little cheaper I would stay there again after a night on the town but I’m sorry I cannot say it was luxurious. The hallways and carpets were good. Clean and safe. Situated near the pleasure beach is good. What I found odd was he didn’t want guests bring alcohol into their rooms which to be fair is something I dont agree with as we are quite responsible adults who enjoy a glass of wine in our room before we got out.

Dirty damp smell in hotel towels and bedding had fusty smell could do with a good clean and painting we thought if the hotel room smelt fusty what would the kitchen b like so for that reason we did not go for breakfast that we paid for also parked the car in hotel then he said that will £10 nothing on web to say parking extra so that was £160 for 1 nite rip off ur site said excellent u need to review this property
