One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in at Blackpool so far and I've stayed in a few over the years! The breakfast wasn't cooked but there was no waiting time, plenty of choice and easier for kids to navigate themselves. I would definitely recommend and will be back myself!
Brilliant hosts who were so friendly and helpful, room was spotless and cool despite the heatwave! Beds super comfy too. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at Windsor House Hotel! The location is perfect — just a short walk from the main attractions, promenade, and tram stops, which made it very convenient for our family. The room was clean, cosy, and comfortable, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere after a busy day exploring Blackpool.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions and give useful tips about the area. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with enough variety to suit everyone in the family.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Windsor House Hotel to families or anyone looking for a comfortable and central place to stay in Blackpool. We would happily return again!
Lovely welcome with tea and biscuits, comfortable and clean rooms, generous continental breakfast. Thank you for your attention, and advice on directions!

On arrival the gentleman who checked us in was polite and well mannered. The check in area was clean and presentable. The idea of the box with keys, remote and WiFi password was brilliant. My Son thought it was amazing having a smart tv in the room. The room itself was immaculate, well presented, clean and smelt amazing. This is the best hotel we’ve stayed in over the years and will definitely be returning and will be the only one we book now. The beds were super comfy and we all had a brilliant night sleep. We can’t all wait to come back. Thank you for a brilliant stay!!
Really happy, especially for the cost. Parking is a bit annoying having to pay £19 for the day in central car park but understand that is uncontrollable! Will recommend to friends staying in the area :)
Solid stay with Windsor. Second time I've stayed after staying earlier in the year. Our car broke down so informed Bob we would be late and he mentioned about the check in time but fortunately arrived within this time, we hope there would've been some flexibility if we hadn't.
Bob was friendly and rooms were clean and everything worked.
A few different breakfast options, some cereal and cakes.
Would stay again.
Many thanks
Only good thing about the place it was clean the double bed we stayed in wasnt big enough for us to sleep in my partner had to sleep in other bed rooms were very cold and we had to keep heating on all night we had to go to another room to get shower as our shower was very cold wasnt impressed with breakfast has it took ages for toast to cook
We booked a last minute night away as a family to see the lights. We managed to get the last room at windsor house hotel and i was pleasantly suprised. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. We booked a quadruple room for 3 of us and it was alot bigger than i expected and really clean too! The best thing for us was the breakfast choice. We couldnt ask for anymore, over 5 different cereals to chose from, toast, spreads, cheese, pastries, porride, biscuits, sweets, cakes, plenty of coffees and syrups. The list goes on. If we return to blackpool i would definitely book this hotel again :)
Host/Manager was extremely helpful. He assisted me with carrying our pushchair up the stairs. And, was very accommodating at breakfast time. Talking of the breakfast, well I think describing it as continental is under selling it, there is nothing “cooked” except you can have toast, but the selection of options for breakfast is mind blowing and top notch. As for the room, have the right expectation that this is a hotel built early in Blackpool’s holiday industry and so it isn’t going to be the ritz but they have done their best to provide comfort and style. Location is perfect for Central attractions and amusements, parking is accessible all around if you can’t get “on street” parking out front. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel. Thank you for a lovely last minute stay.
Great hosts couldnt do enough for you.
Great rooms and facilities for guests probably best one ive stayed in in Blackpool.
Only minor things which could be improved would be the shower in room could be electric as took time for water to heat up around 10 min.
The door for the bathroom dont shut properly as their big gab where the door is fully shut. So maybe new door could be fitted.
Continental breakfast was excellent lot to choose from even got soya milk in as got allergy which is very good customer service
As been in others and ive had to supply it.
Full English was extra fee which was little over price if im honest for what you got.
But apart from the miner issues would definitely recommend it and probably be returning in the future thankyou both.
Very beautiful accommodation, clean and very spacious. Very convenient location.
We were not impressed with the staff manger who decided to just open the door without knocking and proceeded to make conversation despite my girlfriend and I being indecent. She insisted that she did knock but thought we had not heard her which is why she decided to just open the door which she claims was not properly closed so she just pushed it open. It is a fact that the doors have hydraulics that close the door shut after you. She also lied that she had apologized for the imposition and claimed to have poor vision so she could not see that we were in our under garments. It got to a point where we had an exchange because she simply refused to acknowledge her violation against us.
That ruined an otherwise perfect weekend.
Had a family room 3 adults and 2 children room was very clean and comfortable owner couldn’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable and a short walk to attractions would stay here again
Great stay throughout. Mary was very accommodating when I asked for a ground floor room and changed my room immediately 😊 both Mary and Bob were fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. The facilities were everything we needed and the location is perfect for North pier access too. There isn’t any parking with the hotel but there are two further up the road both ways and one on the next street so plenty of options. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Mary and Bob for a great stay 😊
