"Reception was excellent. Breakfast was superb albeit the continental part was a little sparse but ok! Lovely room and bed lovely bars friendly staff .. I got it at a good price too. "

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Lovely clean room, satnav found location but there were shrubs over the brown sign so it took us a little while to find the accommodation. Key lock Box worked well giving us flexibility for check in."
