"Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to local restaurants and bars. Our room was "City view" and it was a bit loud but they give ear plugs. I would recommend a portable fan or white noise to help. It didn't effect our sleep. My husband and I stayed 2 nights and went hiking. Ricketts Glen State Park and Falls were 1 hour 20 minutes away and well worth the travel there and back for a great day trip. The falls were amazing! At no time did the person checking me in ask me to confirm what room type I had requested, I got a standard 2 dbl bed room with a tub. I requested a walk in shower. I thought it was odd that the front desk manager rather than walk around the desk to address a computer issue was sitting on the desk to fix the matter, but it was apparently easier. "Our room was located under the lounge. All night long we heard people running back and forth and furniture moving. We called the front desk and the man said he would go up and talk to the guest in the lounge. It only got louder and louder all night long. Upon checking out I told the front seat desk person and she offered us a bottle of wine. She definitely did not care. We got absolutely zero sleep. We will absolutely not go back."

"We stayed for only one night. Our experience was top notch. This is a great old hotel with an 1800’s vibe, but impeccably restored. Rooms are clean, well appointed and the staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Bill at the front desk. It’s right in the center of the action in town.
