Grand Hotel Toplice exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is unbeatable. Right on Lake Bled with an incredible view of the castle and the island from our room. We spent every morning enjoying an outstanding breakfast, and the lounge area next to the lake was the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. The staff was consistently helpful and friendly throughout our stay, going out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of. Our room was quiet and comfortable, which made for a truly restful stay. Lots of great restaurants and shops just a short walk away. This hotel has it all — stunning views, excellent service, and a peaceful atmosphere. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Bled.

Cricking floor boards, leaking shower, no black out curtains (one curtain significantly shorter than the other) , poor quality towels, impossible to use electric charger for car since they allow any car to park at the electric car slots. Nice private beach but you cannot order any drinks there.

The staff was so kind and helpful, especially Anja, giving us a Lake front room to make up for the construction going on. I am not typically a fan of antiques and classic hotels but I liked this one. Sitting in the classic decor and looking out over the lake was a nice. We only had breakfast but the food prep and presentation were great. There seems to be a focus on dinning I thought from the food and the staff.

There's no question the location is absolutely stunning on the shores of lake bled. Directly looking across at the castle. Absolutely amazing views. The property itself is very old. The buffet side of the breakfast has plenty of fruit and pastries. They imply like you could order something except for all of the wait staff completely avoids you. The interactions at the restaurant were the same you see people there so you know they're not doing anything but almost impossible to flag anybody down or get them to come to the table

This is a classic and a beautiful property ! The staff was very attentive to alll of our needs during our 3 night stay. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of options. Wonderful pastries breads juices meats cheeses and a menu to order also included. The property has a spa w a pool and saunas we enjoyed relaxing at each afternoon. Location is stellar. Concierge maja was very helpful with events and reservations and more ! Definitely will be back again after the remodel!

This hotel is straight out of a magazine. The location on the lake was just perfect. Our view from the room was out of this world. We loved being able to easily walk to restaurants and town. They offered complimentary boat rentals to the island. This was also a highlight. We loved the history, location and the views. Everything was perfect. I would love to go back.

this hotel was in a fantastic spot - we had a view of the castle and island. Our balcony was amazing and it was close to everything. Their breakfast had everything you needed or wanted. the Beds were probably the most comfortable beds we had this whole trip. The only thing i would say is the hotel is a little tired. We had one of the bigger suites and the furniture was old and worn and the rug was as well. if these were updated, this is hands down one of the best hotels in the area!

The hotel has a killer location that completely changes everything about the stay in Bled. Front desk and the pool team is very nice and helpful. The pool and the beach are outstanding. However, the hotel is very dated and the rooms are falling apart. The hardwood floor is lose and windows panels are cracked. It’s used to be charming but now it just very old. The breakfast service was disappointing, our omelette was discussing but the rest of the breakfast was good and had a lot of verity. Overall, we were very happy with the stay because of the location and the beach. However it’s time to renovate the hotel.
