Downsides were; I couldn't park in front of my room, they didn't turn the heat on untill I arrived and in the middle of winter the room was freezing, and very draughty due to the open slat bathroom windows (it was frigid in the morning). "This property was located central in Katoomba with easy access to buses and the train. It also had numerous places to eat within walking distance, plus one right next door. There were 3 supermarkets nearby, including one across the road. The staff were friendly and helpful and even offered to change rooms, if we could not manage the stairs.
