"Fantastic views and excellent service. We had booked one of the Horizon Rooms with access to the lounge. Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La."

"Check in was a breeze with super helpful and friendly staff. I had a complication which was dealt with swiftly and professionally. I was upgraded to a king single as I was alone and the room was actually nicer than a standard queen room. It's always beautiful and clean, everything you need is supplied and the rooms are very spacious. I always sleep well there as you can barely hear the neighbouring guests. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the central atrium thingy, it is unique and rather wonderful, with real plants in places (even the fake ones look real) so that gives it a really nice vibe. There is a safe and secure smoker's lounge on the premises which is kept lovely and clean. This is also a unique feature, and as a lone (smoking) traveller, I appreciate the safety of not having to smoke on the street outside. It is definitely my favourite place to stay when visiting the city; either for leisure or for business."

"Amora Hotel is located in a great position with easy access to river. Staff were welcoming and although we arrived very early, we could relax in lounge area with coffee and food, whilst we waited for our room. Room was spacious, clean and comfy. Throughout our stay, staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions we had."

"Hotel is great, lovely pool and close to beach. Room was OK (no free upgrade this time) and having to hand over your luggage immediately on arrival (pre-check in) was unexpected and not really warranted."

"While we did eat breakfast and it was wonderful the rest of the place was poorly remodeled had an odor and some of the staff not so friendly. It is next to the train station and you can hear and feel it when passing under the hotel"
