"Overall a very comfortable stay. Kitchen and bathroom are a bit dated but it was very spacious and had great extras like cooking oil and cling wrap. Also loved having a washing machine and dryer and the bed had an electric blanket. Would be a great place with kids as there’s a large lawn area out the back and a large green reserve at the front of the house. "

"We had a wonderful time in Albany. We booked a 5 night stay at the Golf and Beach Retreat. The weather was not in our favour for a few days but that didn't deter us from getting out and about. We were well equipped for it! We enjoyed some lovely food and took in many of the sights that Albany is famous for. The Whaling Station is a must! Our accommodation was good, although a little dated but it suited our needs. Be mindful that if you use a mobility aid you may have issues getting through the narrow sliding door ... our daughter's wheelchair just fit through. The house was clean and well presented. The location is excellent! My son and I went for daily walks to get coffee at Emu Point Cafe. If you're an avid golf player, you can walk to Albany Golf Club and if you enjoy a beer Dune Beer Co. is also within walking distance."
