"The main reason I am not happy is I booked a king room at a lower price and then when I got there it was a lot more! On top of that, they had NO king rooms available overbooked! Had to get a queen and only $25.00 credit. Not happy with this! If I am gonna pay $300 a night for 1 room for 1 night it best be the best and what I had asked for!! Very disappointed!!"

"Nice place, but you see that it has not fully recovered since Helen storm.
I believe the owners make everything they can so you fell welcome, but the local restaurant is closed the blue ridge parkway is still close around as well.
Close by there is the NC mineral museum , even if it is not big it is worth visiting , and not to fare away there is Linville Falls that are worth checking"

The bathroom looked rough and towels had some staining. They provided two towels for five people but they gave us a third when we asked. I don’t know that the hotel is worth what I paid. It looked like a 70 dollar per night room on the side of the road. But I paid way more. The breakfast was just cereal and yogurt. My kids were...
