"Really cool site. Shared bathrooms were very clean, staff was helpful, fire pit and s’mores was cool. Only complaint would be the trains that go quite frequently throughout the night."

"The place had a beautiful garden and the rooms were small but cute. Breakfast was amazing each morning. We did not know you had to make a reservation for the restaurant (I guess if you book on their website you are made aware) so we were unable to eat there any of the 3 nights. The only choice for a meal is a Trading Post( serving pizza and sandwiches)or driving into the Big fork area. In addition, we discovered mice in our room on the last day when we saw 2 of them run across the small table....

"This hotel is very conveniently located. We loved the fact that we had a full cabin (so no neighbor noise). The only knock against it is that the furnishings are quite outdated. The mattressess are clearly very old, as is the bedding and carpeting. But for a quick stay, we were able to overlook it."

"The view from the lake front rooms is incredible. The property is dated, but for the price was a good value. Sits on the main road in Polson so expect some traffic noise."

"This is an amazing historic hotel right outside of glacier national. The Front desk staff were awesome; college kids from Lexington Kentucky. The on-site restaurant is fabulous. Joe can fix you up some great huckleberry cocktails. It’s a perfect place to stay when you’re in the area."
