Riverwalk Casino Hotel
8/10 Good
"Restaurant food wasn’t the best but the room was good for the price. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Loved that the casino wasn’t too crowded."
"Everything was wonderful, slightly disappointed the pool and hot tub were not operational during our stay but we will certainly return to this property."

4/10 Poor
"First, no working elevators. Second, the room was barely clean at best. The mattress protector was soiled with what looked like blood in two spots and seman in another spot. The room had no fridge, hair dryer, or iron. We asked to move rooms, which would cost us an upcharge of $10, However that room had no room light. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel. If I had to say one nice thing, the shower had hot water. "
"Parking was good, staff was good. The pictures online of this hotel looks much nicer than it is. Room needs updating and fresh paint, bathroom was in need of repair. I paid and requested a deluxe handicap accessible room and got a standard king room. I am handicapped and just had a heart surgery 5 days prior and needed the shower, because it was difficult to lift my leg over the tub. The walls had spots all over and looked like splatttered blood, or something brown slung all over it. You can tell the staff try to clean the best they can, but it’s hard when things are falling apart. Breakfast was just cereal oatmeal and waffles, a few muffins , juice and coffee. Very minimal.
Until they can upgrade, we won’t be staying here again.
Whoever does the reservation for Hotel.com needs to pay attention when someone requests a handicap room, we don’t ask for it for the fun of it! I have stayed in much nicer hotels for what I paid to get a room in Vicksburg for this room! I am very disappointed with hotel.com.!!"
"Room was very dated lamps did not work no remote for tv bathroom door would not close no hot water mattress on bed was sloped fell off bed while sleeping terrible experience "
"The staff was great, very helpful with everything we asked.
Our room was not great. Didn't feel clean and relaxing like other La Quintas. I didn't notice it until the morning but the fire sprinkler in ceiling was leaking and had black mold around it. Won't stay at this La Quinta again.
I will say, they refunded our stay fully with the power outage from the storm and the leak in the room."

2/10 Terrible
"Please do not stay here. What hotel has no hangers or full length mirrors? Nevermind, the years of dirt on baseboards. The HVAC vent was filled with dirt. The sheets on the bed had to be seven years old. The one wasn’t even a sheet but rather an old duvet cover being used as the bottom sheet. The other bed had a full sized bottom sheet on a queen size bed. The shower had no water pressure and the top of the shower head also had accumulated with dirt. The ironing board was heavily stained and burned, I would have never used it. I was shocked when I discovered this was a Wyndham hotel. I would not have even stayed here for $60 dollars. I’ve truly never been in such a dirty hotel, I fell for the positive ratings on this site, I don’t know if they deleted other old negative ones or if they were incentivized. Even during checkout the guest in front of me had been complaining about mold in her shower. Please see pictures for more detail."
"The first day our breakfast was great. It consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits and omelette.
Since the first day’s breakfast was so very good I was looking forward to eating again, however that ended up being a disappointment. There were no scrambled eggs and no bacon, only omelette’s that appeared to be left over from the previous day. The second day’s breakfast did have overcooked biscuits, sausage patties and ham patties.
In reference to the room, we found it to be very comfortable and nice.
We did however have one problem with the bathroom. The problem being that the bathtub had a 1/4 inch hole near the bottom front on the inside which allowed water to escape from the tub onto the floor. We notified management the next day and they offered to let us move to another room, but we didn’t want the deal with moving so we made do with the room we were in."
