Entorno precioso. Muy buén descanso. Limpieza. Amabilidad. A escasos metros de la playa. Cerca de restaurantes. Buén desayuno. La vía para llegar hasta/desde el pueblo de Bocas está horrible, aunque están intentando arreglarla.

Great place outside Bocas Town

Nice quiet place close to the beach. You hear the crashing waves. The hostess serves a great homemade breakfast every morning. Only a few rooms so you meet and talk with them all. Three restaurants within walking distance. Only minus that its a bit isolated. Bocas town is only 10 km away but the road along the beach is so bad it takes at least 30 minutes. Taxi cost 15 dollar (20 to the airport for some reason)

Great hosts

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I had a minor issue in my room and Olivia responded right away and dealt with the issue even though it was later in the evening. Lots of wildlife around! The beach is great for surfing or for strolling around. It is further away from Bocas town and requires a taxi ride charging $20 one way.

Remote everyday escape

We had some wonderful days at the turtle beach house. The stay is remotely located and you need to go by collectivo or taxi (15$/~30Min from Bocas town). The house is lovely located between nature and during our stay we wer able to watch various wildlife - as we were visited by a sloth and his kid during breakfast. The amazing Bluff beach is just outside of the property. If you are looking for some activities, the hosts are happy to support in either direction. If you are asking, Olivia will take care. Thank you for some memorable days and happy 2023!

Great property on the beach! Comfy room, great breakfast, attentive staff. Olivia took care of all our needs. Beautiful front porch to view birds and relax. Great pool! I would totally go back!

Perfect Tropical getaway

Wonderful place to get away from it all. Place is what you want for a Carribean beach destination. Owners attended me in a top notch fashion and breakfast was incredible. Will return. Transportation was available but roads are not great. Beach was wonderful.

Es handelt sich um ein kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel, die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Die Gartenanlage mit Pool ist sehr schön gestaltet und die Lage am Bluff Beach ist ein Traum. Wir waren drei Nächte in diesem Hotel. In einer Nacht fiel für mehrere Stunden (6-8 Stunden) das Wasser aus; in einer anderen Nacht fielen Wasser und Strom aus. Auf Reklamation hin hat man sich bei uns hierfür entschuldigt; lediglich ein geringer Preisnachlass (10 $ insgesamt) wurde hierfür gewährt. Aufgrund der Bewertungen und des Preises für die Unterkunft (ca. 130,00 EUR/Nacht) hatten wir mehr erwartet. Auch das hier viel gelobte Frühstück gab es nicht. Dieses war wirklich sehr einfach und einfallslos und man hätte es (z. B. durch saubere Behältnisse) appetitlicher gestalten können. Was man sonst noch wissen sollte: - erschwinglicher Wäscheservice (10 $) - die Fenster haben keine Scheiben (vom Klima her kein Problem, allerdings bekommt man - je nach Lage des Zimmers - alle Gespräche, die am Pool geführt werden, unmittelbar mit) - Toilettenpapier darf nicht in der Toilette entsorgt werden, sondern in einem hierfür zur Verfügung gestellten Mülleimer - es gibt keine Rezeption und kein Mobilfunknetz (wenn also der Strom ausfällt und man kein W-lan hat, ist man ein Stück weit von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten) Fazit: An sich tolles Hotel, aber nicht zu diesen Konditionen. Nicht für Kleinkinder oder kranke/ältere Personen zu empfehlen.

Excellent Getaway. Memorable Stay in the jungle.

Everything was great. This place is about 20 mins from the main town. This place made our stay in Boca Del Toro much more special and a little more rugged, exciting and secluded but not alone. You can catch a taxi $15 or bus $3 here. However, the bus only runs until 6pm. Once you arrive, there are a few restaurants in the area. The beach is footsteps away. The Turtle Beach House is gorgeous. One of the best gardens. Truly well kept. The rooms are beautiful, including the natural shower. The breakfast was amazing. Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet the owners, as they had to leave for Holland for two weeks due to family reasons. My husband is Dutch, so it seemed like a good fit. However, we were in good hands with David. We saw a sloth in one of the trees of the Turtle House. You can take the Jungle Hwy, a trail path from the hotel either by foot, bike or 4x4 and explore. This is where we saw more sloths, monkeys and cool birds. The ocean is pretty wild and really enjoyed the crashing waves at night. The only downside was once we checked out, we did not actually plan to leave the area/hotel until the evening on our last day. We wanted to go for a hike and use the pool until we needed to catch our flight. However, currently there is no other common use bathroom to use on the premises after check out. They are only in the guest rooms. We were told there are future plans to add one in the laundry area which would be very beneficial for after check out use.

Relaxing Honeymoon Destination on Bluff Beach

We stayed at the Turtle Beach House for four nights on our honeymoon. When looking for a place in Bocas we wanted to enjoy something near the beach in a quieter area, but what made our time at Turtle Beach House truly special was spending time with Sandra and Dave. Sandra went well out of her way to help book some tours for us and make our stay very comfortable. We had breakfast every morning with them where we had some great conversations. Our room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the screened windows in lieu of bug netting around the bed. Bluff Beach was directly in front of the house. Their pool behind the house was great to soak in on a hot day. The front garden had hundreds of flowers and hummingbirds that provided for entertainment. It was low season so a few restaurants in the immediate area were temporary closed but there were still two within a 10 minute walk that provided ample dining options. I would highly recommend staying with Sandra and Dave's Turtle Beach House if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

Cet endroit est un petit coin de paradis dans la jungle face à l’océan. Nous y sommes restés que deux jours, mais nous y serions restés encore et encore. Impossible de se lasser de regarder le fabuleux jardin avec tous ces animaux qui y passent du haut du balcon. Sandra et Dave nous font sentir comme de la famille!

Excellent B&B, remote location

The Accomodations were excellent. Rooms were better than the traveler pics I saw before booking. Sandra and Dave were like meeting old friends right from the start. A great remote B&B perfect for relaxing and unwinding with access to all Bocas has to offer only a cab or bus ride away. The breakfast was excellent as well. Within a 2 minute walk were two restaurants with full bar. Would recommend to all my friends.

Owners make the difference

The owners of this small Bed and Breakfast are great people and make de difference. I recommend it to every one looking for a relaxed time in the beach and far from the city. Owners are very nice and the collective breakfast with the other guests is a plus.

Total relaxation

Very nice B&B. Dave & Sandra are excellent hosts and the service is outstanding. The location is perfect with the beach on one side and the jungle on the other. Long beach walks, laying in a hammock, enjoying the swimming pool, and listening to the birds and monkeys is what you can look forward to.

Lovely place right next to a pristine beach.

We stayed a week at Turtle beach and had a fantastic time. If you are thinking of staying here then you need to be aware that it is a good 25 minute taxi ride from Bocas Town, but in return you are away from the hussle and bussle of island life and can enjoy the immense beach which stretches for miles. The sea is not always suitable for bathing or swimming due to strong under tows but if you enjoy doing your own thing and being woken up by the sound of the waves ( or the howler monkeys, or the parrots !) this is ideal.

If you are looking for the joys of nature and secluded and remote locations, but also want the comfort and relaxation of a great accommodation, this is the right place to go. Precioso lugar

Precioso lugar muy cuidado y limpio , con un jardin muy bonito donde puedes disfrutar de la fauna local perezosos incluidos, una piscina muy práctica, habitación limpia, confortable con amplio baño, rico desayuno y derecho al uso de la cocina de la casa, algo muy práctico para tener tus propias bebidas y comida sin depender de ir a restaurantes. La atención y recomendaciones de los dueños es excelente. Muy recomendable para una agradable estancia de vacaciones.
