You won’t want to leave, we loved the hotel, perfect location with view of the lake. Great shower, perfectly clean and maintained room. Lots of choice and tasty breakfast, the best granola. Great spa facilities which can be booked and used for 2 hours each day, which was lovely after a day walking around lake Bohinj.

Bohinj is a lovely lakeside spot and this hotel is perfectly located to take advantage. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful and the onsite amenities were great. One note is that there is a pool in the wellness center but it does have to be reserved in advance as there is limited space. This wasn’t a problem for us because the lake is so close (5 mins walking) and we were able to get in to the pool both days of our stay, but just good to note. The wellness center facilities in general are very nice and well maintained. The breakfast every day was also excellent.

This was a beautiful hotel, we had a room with a balcony, with a view of the mountains, it was so relaxing. The breakfast was amazing, so much variety and everything was so tasty.

Checked in to an uncleaned room. No sheets, trash cans full, everything used. Said they'd send a maid to clean it. Went back to ask for a different room. Got into new room. No compensation whatsoever. Ate dinner at the hotel. Waiter rarely visited, food to table was no less than an hour. Half an hour and asked twice for drinks. Finally got up after 2 hours and left as we were the last table and our waiter had just disappeared. Smaller wellness center. For the $500+ USD this was disappointing.

The hotel is modern and beautiful! The design choices blend into the natural setting of Bohinj. There is a menu of pillow choices too. We used the spa (Finnish and Turkish spas, salt room, pool), which was included in our stay. The included breakfast was the best we had in Slovenia. There is outdoor seating on the lawn overlooking the lake and a fire pit. Great jump off to Lake Bled as there is less traffic coming and going from Bohinj.

The hotel has an ideal location on lake Bohinj. It's a bit unclear where reception is when you arrive at the parking lot and first impression from the staff was not great. They were not very friendly for some reason. We upgraded from a basement room with a view of a parking lot 1st night to a great corner suite on top floor with an amazing view of the lake and mountain and a large bath 2nd night. Breakfast was good and we had light dinner and dessert at the hotel as well, which was good. Although, charging 20 euro for a cup of buckwheat is ridiculous, as much as I love buckwheat. Plenty of parking and there is a sauna and a large whirlpool. Wonderful location and concept, staff could be a bit more helpful at front desk and in the dining area. Muhr Villa dinner in day two was an amazing experience - another level.

We had a wonderful week the breakfasts were incredible the hiking from the door was really easy and beautiful. The restaurant is great. The whirlpool steam room and sauna are lovely after a good hike. Know that the sauna and steam room are no swimsuits and coed but they did give you a towel and everyone uses it.

This was a great location, room was nice and breakfast was good. We had a really nice stay. My criticism is the spa rules were not consistent and regimented concerning hours spent as a hotel guest even when it was not busy. I think it is a shame that they don’t have a pool for families. The pool is only used for people 18 years and older. The spa services were not available on the weekend which is surprising during peak season.

Fantastic property in every way! The location was excellent in the heart of Lake Bohinj territory (easy day trip to Bled from there) with so much beauty and things to explore within walking/biking distance. The hotel itself was impeccable...from the friendly and helpful wait staff, gorgeously furnished rooms, fantastic restaurant and bar with wonderful food and desserts, a great spa with excellent services to choose from, and very thoughtful and eco conscious design. I LOVED my stay there and would return over and over again!

One of the nicest hotel experiences I have ever had. The location is stunning, the hotel is equally gorgeous. The room was wonderful - very comfortable bed, spacious and excellent shower. The spa / welllness area was lovely. The breakfast and dinner were delicious - locally sourced delicacies and a great menu. But the staff were truly outstanding. Very welcoming and friendly and gave excellent advice on places to visit, hiking routes and things to eat.

In general, we loved the architecture, service and cleanliness of the hotel. However, a few negatives to point out. Our room facing the back and was right next to the trash area where trash trucks and wood chain saws could be heard at 6-7am in the morning. I can’t believe they would even place a room there. The workers also smoked right outside our bathroom window. We could not close the windows because the AC was not strong enough so we were forced to leave the windows open. There were also no screens on the windows so bugs could come in. Luckily, in late August there were no mosquitoes that bothered us. The window in the bathroom also had a bunch of cobwebs right outside, so it clearly had not been cleaned in a while.

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful clean hotel. The view from the room was beautiful. Staff was nice. We had a nice dinner at the hotel, breakfast was delicious as well.
