"I loved my 3 night stay at this hotel. It was so comfortable and cozy, and my small outside balcony overlooking the town was an added plus. The staff were friendly and their food and tourist destinations recommendations were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this special hotel and mountain village in Broto."

"The room had no AC. It was hot and waking up sweating on a vacation was not the plan. With windows open and with a fan. Too hot. Should have been made clear on the listing. The shower drain has no P trap. So a few times in the day, bad smell from the drainage would fill the room. Covering the drain with a towel resolves the problem temporarily."

"Stunning setting- absolutely gorgeous hotel. BUT- No air conditioning and our room on the 4th floor was very hot. Restaurant is beautiful but dining experience very disappointing- mediocre, overpriced food and terrible service. Dinner a few miles down the road at the campground was better and 1/2 the price. Would stay again, in cooler weather because of the beautiful surroundings but skip eating here."

"The property is quirky but well located and maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the owner was surly, abrupt and grumpy. My visit appeared to be an inconvenience to him and he made no attempt to smile or provide assistance. While recognising that it is not his fault that I cannot speak Spanish, long diatribes in his local language when it was clear I could not understand a word he was saying was unhelpful. I felt like a naughty school child. I definitely would not return."
