"This is a lovely place that we picked because of its proximity to Kilimanjaro Airport. We only stayed one night but I would be happy to stay longer if we were going to be in the area. "Our stay at AMEG was fabulous. Staff were courteous and friendly. The food was outstanding and the junior suite gave us lots of room to spread out and relax. We used AMEG for a base to do day trips to Kilimanjaro including a day hike and back to the Mandura Huts and to the Materuni Village and Waterfall. AMEG even arranged a taxi drive into town for me to get more Shillings at the bank. If you ask they will let you know the correct spots to see Mt. Kilamanjaro from the lodge. We would highly recommend staying here."
