"It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience....

"I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately it feels less like a hotel and more like a time capsule… and not in a charming, vintage way. Let’s start with the room: the walls look like they’ve gone a few rounds with a moving company—scuffed, marked, and clearly overdue for a fresh coat of paint. "What a gem this place is! We stayed here for one night on our way to Rome and wished we'd stayed longer. It is restful, quiet, and a quintessential Umbrian village. Orvieto is a quick 10-15 minute drive. Room 4 was wonderful, spacious, spectacular view, incredibly comfortable bed and the best air conditioning and shower! on-site breakfast was lovely with tarts and cakes made from scratch by the breakfast hostess. We HIGHLY recommend this place!"

"Excellent location on our way to Naples. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. The room was very small. Next time I would opt for something bigger. The desk clerk spoke no English. I muddled through in ‘Italian’. The high point here is the restaurant. It’s worth going out of the way to dine here. Amazing food and the waiter spoke a bit of English. The menu was translated so not a problem at all. No breakfast."

"Excellent location facing the lake. Love the old charming characters of the entire building from the lobby to the room and hallways. Biggest and heaviest keychain as well as an old style safe key are rare seen nowadays. One night unplanned stay from a pit stop became our favorite. Highly recommended!"
