"Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. "Upon arrival at the motel we were concerned , it is currently undergoing major reconstruction and renovation, this is not mentioned in the motels site listing on Expedia. It looks like a demolition site and we were not even sure if we had the right place.
Upon finding the office a friendly enough gentleman checked us in and sort of apologised for the state of the place.
Our room in the remaining block of units was clean and tidy, the only real issue being the tv not working, which turned out...
