"Wonderful stay!"

"I like that it has old Alpine Charm that fits the highlands. They have go to great lengths to build out decks from the restaurant, have pickle bar ball court. There is a specialty food truck onsite in addition to good menu and nice bar, it gives the Pineola a vibe of youth and comfort. Although I don’t stay often I live in Newland in Summer and will make sure I get back to restaurant/ bar to relax one evening."

"This turned out to be a old run down property..The rooms smelled musty and were very dirty.The carpet and drapes were stained.The lobby looked so old and smelled musty too.Since we only stayed two nights we stayed but will never again and will def tell other to not go there.I am very disappointed I have booked thru expedia several times and have never had a hotel this bad. If possible You should refere from sending guests here there were also ants in the room.very disappointed"

"Website needs updated the room we stayed in 301 does not look like the rest of the rooms. Blinds were broken bathroom needed updated and showed nothing about restaurant being closed. What they put out in the game room for breakfast was very disappointing. Housekeeping was not very friendly or helpful when trying to get clean towels and wash clothes had to call management for this. They did respond promptly. For what we paid for the room for 2 days we will not go back. Wish I would have taking...

"Everyone was super helpful, especially after one of us had an ankle injury out on a hike. They were responsive and accommodating. The location to Boone and Blowing Rock restaurants was perfect. It had a great view and was very clean!"

"This hotel was located in a good position for me to be able to walk to near by restaurants. The only thing that upset me was the toilet didn’t want to flush right. The mattress was wonderful and helped my back not to hurt so much."
