This property was beautiful, comfortable and clean, centrally located but out of the main street crowds. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance so it worked out well. We would go back in a minute!! Carol is the ultimate hostess, and serves an amazing breakfast!!!!

Our stay was superb! Carol is so wonderful and welcoming and the inn has all the amenities and cleanliness of a corporate hotel with a much better personality/vibe. It’s located right in the center of town and the view from the room is stunning.

Very good location; quick & easy check-in. Lovely large & well-appointed room. However, breakfast was average, and floors/ceilings must be thin as I could hear the people below me talking and footsteps in the room above sounded loud. Quite expensive by comparison to other places I've been, but maybe that's the going rate for this town & location.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Heron! Carol, the Inn keeper was very nice and prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning. The room was quite large and was extremely clean.

Room 3 is huge with spacious comfortable sitting area. It overlooks the bay and has double patio doors and three windows that bring in light and the views. Scrupulously clean. High end bed and bedding. Cute electric stove heater. Great inroom coffee set up. Elegant little homemade breakfast in the common area. The landscaping and plantings are magazine worthy.

The Blue Heron was absolutely wonderful! View of the bay, kayaks available, home cooked breakfast, and most of all the wonderful hostess who advised us on places to see and eat. Air conditioned room was spotless, with little refrigerator and icebox...all up to date. Jacuzzi tub . Just a short walk to town,shops and restaurants...a gem of a place

Comfortable inn, clean rooms and beautiful property. Seating on balconies outside the room to relax overlooking the water, before and after walking around town. Carol is great and helped us with our to-do list.

Home away from home, but better

The Inn is wonderful, truly amazing. The views of the harbor create a sense of peace. What makes it beyond 5 Star is Carol the innkeeper. Friendly and full of knowledge of the region and makes a spectacular blueberry French toast.

Just what we needed before our wedding

We stayed at the Blue Heron Seaside Inn for our “pre-moon”. My fiance and I couldn’t go on a honeymoon because of schedules so we decided to go away the weekend before our wedding and ended up at booth bay and the Blue Heron Seaside Inn. It was just what we needed. Carol the innkeeper was amazing, we loved going to breakfast to chat with her about places to visit during our stay. The food was delicious, each morning better than the day before. The owner also came each morning to breakfast to check in with the guests and chat about everyones plans for the day. The views from the room were outstanding, the town was adorable, just enough mix between quiet small town with enough things to do and places to eat to keep you busy during our stay. We had a great time and will hopefully be getting back there next season!

Beautiful B&B in a great location!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect - walking distance to all of the shops, docks and dining. Our room was very clean and had a great view from the deck overlooking Boothbay Harbor and the footbridge. The breakfasts were all delicious and perfectly portioned. We especially enjoyed the option of eating breakfast outside on the front porch. Our hostess Carol was awesome! She provided us with great advice about where to eat and what to do while we were in Boothbay Harbor. We'll be back in Boothbay Harbor again and we'll DEFINITELY stay at the Blue Heron!

Wonderful week at the Blue Heron

This B&B is perfectly located and well run. The site Mgr is wonderful and serves an amazing daily breakfast. The room we had was spacious, quiet, and beautifully furnished. It is a very short walk to the center of Boothbay Harbor shopping and eating. My wife's favorite shop was only 5 doors away from the Blue Heron's front door. If we ever return to the Boothbay area we will definitely stay at the Blue Heron again.
