"Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree. "The cabin was lovely, quaint and clean with a gorgeous view. Extra bonus it is surrounded by sheep! Cabin was well equipped with everything you need. Only complaint was the pillows could use an update, but that is a personal preference. If you are looking for a beautiful view, quiet and quaint location this is it. Also super close to Portree, only a 10 minutes drive away."

"This was a nice place to stay, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved how isolated it is, and it had great views of the stars. The description is misleading/wrong though. You do not get a whole cottage to yourself. It it more of a duplex where the host lives on one side of the building.
