Trattandosi di un viaggio di lavoro non ho utilizzato le offerte come SPA e piscina. Ma, l'hotel è molto confortevole, possiede un vasto parcheggio gratuito, è ubicato in periferia (cosa che in una città piccola come Matera è realmente ininfluente) quindi senza le problematiche della ZTL e del traffico ...

Only downside is the staff coordinating travel arrangements huge confusion and misunderstanding. Which results in the hotel staff getting annoyed because we booked our own private car service.

Unique architecture.

A unique hotel and well worth visiting. Being in our 80’s was difficult managing the 40 odd steps to our room. Service was excellent in the dining room. Cannot say the same for reception…not at all warm and welcoming. Two nights is plenty of time for a visit.

The best B&B that we have experienced. The room has an indoor sauna, rain showers, wine cooler, small kitchenette and ample of space. Host is very helpful on local food. Not far from the city center.
