"We have been trying out hotels/motels in the West Point vicinity for a couple years, so West Point Motel seemed an obvious choice for location. It was clean and had a reasonable rate for the location. There is a Mexican restaurant, drug store, and grocery store within walking distance. I was able to drive to the Academy in less than 5 minutes. Some things to think about if considering the motel. I am not sure if it was the time of year, but the motel was not staffed around the clock. If you...

"I booked last minute due to nasty conditions from the previous hotel. Holiday Inn was very nice, clean and customer service was great. My only complaint woukd be there were kids above us and they were jumping and banging very loud. The pool was very nice and clean. The property was very clean highly recommend"

"There were no outlets in the bathroom making it difficult to use appliances in there. There was a steamer but no iron. Perhaps someone could ask for these things but for the amount we paid per night, it was disappointing."

"Very lovely place nice and clean, but the rooms are extremely small and it’s controlled by central air outside the room. Which means all the rooms on your floor. I have to be at the same temperature if another room one hot or cold that’s exactly what Room would be which I found to be ridiculous. I’ve never understood thatI stayed in the summit section, but I booked for overlook so I’m not sure exactly how that worked out. Beautiful scenery wonderful staff very clean place."
