"Excellent property in a fantastic location. Staff are helpful and professional. Our room was clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds. Don't miss the rooftop which includes a spacious gym, steam, steam and outdoor jacuzzi with beautiful outdoor seating, lots of places to relax. This area is full of charming cafes and restaurants, short walk to the port. Highly recommended."

"The staff at Auberge de Vieux Porte went out of their way to be courteous and helpful , this included the front desk and the two restaurants. The size of this hotel is very warm and welcoming. The location of the hotel was perfect."

"This hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Montreal. It’s walkable (although a bit long) from the train station, and very close to the port - we were getting onto a cruise ship. We could see our ship from the room! Staff was helpful and very friendly, rooms were quirky and retro and very clean. Breakfast was more than enough for us, and delivered daily, directly to our room. Lots of restaurants in the area and easy access to the waterfront and the Old Port. Would definitely stay here again."

Place was spotless and breakfast items, even the smoke salmon, were refilled promptly when we let them know things were missing. St. Viateur bagels at breakfast, nice touch and saved us a trip over there. Room was cool with bare stone/brick exterior wall inside. Shower awesome with all those spray nozzles. Would recommend dumping your car elsewhere unless you will be taking it out a lot- you...
