"This is a beautiful property with a very interesting history. It is situated in a neighborhood so there was no traffic noise and the rooms were very quiet.
But....
1. We did not get the email from the property to access the room. I called the number on the website and the previous owner responded that he had sold the property. He even checked with us the next day to make sure we were ok. We did find the property manager that evening and got into the room.

"If you are looking for a place to sleep - it’s fine. There no coffee pot or anything else in the room. It came with 2 bath towels - they changed them after two days. We had reservations for 4 nights. Bed was fine - as usual we had our own pillows so I don’t have an opinion on the hotel ones. The office was out of coffee a couple times when I went to get a cup in the morning."

Probably the worst place we have ever stayed and we travel a lot… also broken down cars in the parking lot like people lived in their cars. Should also explain the neighborhood.."

"The property is beautiful.
Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable.
The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat.
Allen was so gracious and helpful.
The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs.
Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful.
I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...

"The 1 bedroom suite was great for travel with 2 young kids. The staff were fine. They were not rude, but were not extra accommodating either. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the dishwasher pod that was provided was a really nice touch. Sadly both the king bed and the pullout couch were fairly uncomfortable for sleep. It was expected for the couch, but not the main mattress. Overall, a nice, clean place with nice amenities."
