"Good for the price"

"Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)"

"Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was kind and courteous. Room was brutally hot with no Air Conditioning. I asked for fans and they provided up to 3 fans but they just circulated very hot air. I eventually resorted to removing all my clothing and wrapping my body in a wet towel in an effort to get some rest. I returned home to the US sick with chest congestion and am now under the care of a doctor who is treating me for my symptoms. Although it’s a lovely I will not return to Drift...

"Good sized room and bed. Very hot and stuffy on entry. Tried the air con control panel but it was switched off. (In a heatwave in june?) Turned on unit at the mains and room cooled until early hours of the morning when I heard water splashing on the carpet from the ac unit.- Noticeable amount of water pouring from unit-So turned it off again. "One of my favourite hotels I've ever stayed at! Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and clean rooms, and great food. If you have coeliac disease, I highly recommend staying here, as they were very aware of safety. Everything was in a separate frier, etc. Every staff member I spoke to was so friendly."
