"Can't beat the price. The hotel and rooms seemed very clean. No parking fees, close to the highway. Front staff were very kind and patient. I would definitely stay here again. Reasons I didn't give 5 star rating We were told at check in that breakfast started at 6am. Next morning at 6 we went down and the front desk said it doesn't start until 7, but the vouchers they give you say breakfast starts at 6. "Excellent stay. Clean comfortable suite. Friendly and accommodating staff. Easy access to free parking underground. Our stay was 4 nights and the only slight negative I can think of is the warm items at breakfast were the same everyday. I will definitely stay again when I am back in Toronto. "

"Great location for restaurants and coffee shops, the morning breakfast was more than enough. Close access to the 400 which makes it easier for an out of towner not used to Barrie. I would stay again but ask for a room away from the parking lot."

"The room was ok. Walls were gross tho, lots of residue splatter on them. We bought our own cleaner to ensure the jacuzzi tub was clean before we used it. The bathroom was ok. Shower didnt look the cleanest tho. Breakfast was ok. The make your own waffles station was fun. We found the eggs to be too runny tho. Staff didn't greet us, unless we needed help from the desk. "This property was perfect for our stay. The suites were very comfortable and welcoming. We loved that the tv welcomed us into the room and the staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay at another Homewood Suites by Hilton."

"We were unable to check-in right away when we arrived. We were early by 25 minutes, but had to wait 45 to get a room. They did upgrade us at that time. The room was good, but had a very strong chlorine smell that never dissipated. The room was quiet. A good breakfast was included. The area did have a few sketchy characters, but was convenient to shopping, the movie theatre, and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were friendly."
