"What a lovely place! I wish I had arrived earlier and stayed longer. I took off a star for the young woman who was alone in the front office in the morning (about 8am). I said "good morning" and got no response - and yet, the next woman to walk in got a very cheery "good morning". Not a big deal - and, if you are going to be in the hospitality industry it helps to be hospitable."

"Lovely place, wonderful location. Indoor seating for breakfast would be nice as the chairs and tables were wet in the morning. Breakfast staff was very unkind to a guest this morning."

"Walking distance to the beach. Clean & spacious room with fireplace and partial beach view from bedroom window. Plenty of free parking. Free morning coffee and tea, plus limited pastries and small fruit (pineapple) cups; (fresh oranges and apples would’ve been nice. Very friendly staff."

"Completely unplugged for 24 hours. The Wi-fi doesn’t work much. No cell service. This place is a breath of fresh air. Meticulously maintained grounds and facilities feel like a step back into yester-years. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the jacuzzi bath tub and fireplace. We loved the breath taking views from our room. The restaurant has excellent food. We were sad to come back to reality."
