Right from the start our stay was unpleasant. The front desk girl who checked us in had zero personality, I don't even think she said hello.
The room was very dated, so clearly the pictures on the site are of newer, updated rooms.
The A/C was intermittently broken. Oh, and the water slide (part of the reason we booked this hotel) was out of service. We weren't told this until the day before we checked in... right before we were able to cancel our reservation.
During our stay, we had to leave due to an unforeseen family emergency. We left the property at 1:30am and checked our with the night clerk. I asked for a refund but was told because i booked though an online service, i had to contact them (Expedia). So i contacted Expedia and they tried to contact the property multiple times and cutoff get no answer.
So basically we stayed one of our two nights, stuff was broken and the hotel refused to refund me my one night that we didn't use.
This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a hotel in my 43 years. I grew up in the hospitality business and I can tell you that this level of service and disregard for the customer is completely unacceptable.
Save yourself the headache, DO NOT ever book a room here. It's not worth the savings. Next time I'll spend the extra few dollars and stay at a real property.
