The location is great and the bed was very comfortable. The room decore is a little outdated and the tv could be bigger. we enjoyed our stay and the staff was nice all but one cleaning woman but we didnt have to deal with her we were checking out.

We LOVED our room. It was a loft room with a spiral staircase. It had a huge bed downstairs and a full-size bed upstairs as well as a bathroom which made it very convenient. We will definitely be staying at Windmill in the future, as long as we can get another loft room.

The room was nice and clean. the extra blanket was waded up shoved in the drawer. when we booked it said they had breakfast, when we got there they told us there was no breakfast. they did not have coffee either.

Check in was a quick process. The room was horrible there was a box Tv and dog crap behind a chair. We were moved to another room. It was also a mess box tv but no dog crap. We felt with it since it was so cheap and near everything. We had to go to three different ice machines to get ice finally asked the front desk they said the one in the laundry room worked. Thinking we were going to get breakfast in the morning as the booking stated free breakfast, but as of January 2020 they no longer served breakfast (we checked in Dec.31). You get what you pay for. I do not recommend this hotel. I feel as if I should get my money back.

The only thing that was nice about the windmill was the location. Otherwise it’s a horrible place to stay. The manager and staff where very rude and the receptionist was uninformed. I was told from her that we would have our complementary breakfast but according to manager breakfast was temporary shut down. They neglected to tell us that. So my family and I where charged for something we didn’t get and got no money back. The room was disgusting torn wallpaper and a hole in the bathroom ceiling. And no bath soap. I do not recommend anyone to stay hear. It’s a waste of money and they are all Lies. Horrible experience!!!

Well I didn't like that I should be a valued customer because I book multiple stays through Expedia I called talk to customer service explained to them that I recently just lost my wallet a few moments ago and I needed to check in somewhere with my credit cards on file and I made the reservation online and when I got to the hotel they refuse to let me stay because I didn't have nothing which to me is completely and utterly mitigating and should have been accepted as much money as we spent with Expedia this was an embarrassing experience and I thought I would have got more assistance than that from a company in the market that we spend almost a quarter million dollars a year in lodging for our business it's a darn shame to lose a customer over a one-night stay

Our room was never cleaned properly. The sheets was never changed. Our trash was never taken out and the floor was never swept. We left one day to go explore Branson and when we came back we had some personal things missing. When I told the office what happened he said he would talk to the housekeeper in the morning.. that night we watched a drug deal in the parking lot and crackheads everywhere. We woke up the next morning to check out and the office man saw us leaving and ran upstairs and locked the lobby doors. He didn’t want the confrontation and when I called he said just leave the keys in the mail box.. I was very unhappy with my stay. I’d like to speak with the owners or even the managers to get a refund for my stay Bc after everything that was taken from me and all I dealt with there I definitely won’t be coming back

Upon arrival there was no one at the office, I left to go to the store and when I come back someone was finally there. Once I got to my room it was freezing in there, chair blocking the heating/cooling system, Door didn't seal correctly, so allowed for the cold air to come in the room, bed was dirty, extra blanket dirty, and when I went to take a bath with hopes to warm up the tub was dirty as well. There was hair in/on the drain. I went to office to complain and yet again there was no one there. I called to let them know I was needing to leave early in the morning for a family issue and would be checking out and needed a refund for remainder of trip, however, still awaiting refund and when I went to check out ... no one at the office again. This is not a place I will EVER visit again. Staff is very unfriendly when they are there to talk to.

Nightmare of a stay.
We check in Wednesday thur Sunday.There was ni maid service the whole time we was there.We had no clean towels.On thursday we called to get towels the man in the office was very rude.He said he was there aline and would try to get them for us.He then called back later and said he had several complaints about no towels or no maid service.We went and bought our own towels and washrags.Then on Saturday we could not get into our room.They had to come let us in due to the battery in the door. being dead.That never got fixed so we had to go to office everytime we need into our room.We have always had good service there before.but it was not a good service at all.

When I checked on the clerk told me that there was no breakfast as promised. He said that Expedia was putting out the wrong information about the free breakfast…The first room we were put in was dirty and run down. The plug-in outlet and lamp didn’t work…we were moved into another room which we thought was better, it wasn’t. We had no towels and we discovered that there was a leak above the toilet. You know what’s above our toilet was another toilet leaking. That means someone’s pee or poo was leaking on top of our toilet. We decided we were not going to stay another night. It looks as though the man working in the lobby had no help at all. While I was in the lobby to complain about my room I had to wait until someone Was finished complaining about theirs. Don’t stay there…spend a little more money for a better stay..

This place is terrible! I would never stay here again, room was bad! Needs updating in the worst possible way, you name it, it was not good.
Thankfully through Hotels.com they refunded us one night stay
Hair on bathroom floor, sheet did not fit, could see light under door and between heater/ac and wall, curtain wouldn’t close all the way, floor not vacuumed, no hot water, and on and on

Horrible the staff was rude and I booked a jacuzzi room that had no hot water and the heat wasn’t working so I froze all night and when I ask for my money back the clerk said that’s just how it it you booked an old hotel.

The man at the check in counter was very pleasant. But when he gave me a key to a room that had someone in it. I opened the door and there were some men in there. One of them was barely dressed.
I went back to the office and the check in clerk appologized and gave me another room. The room was not very well kept. The door had a big crack between the door and wall. I am glad the wind was not blowing or it would have been very cold in the room. The vent in the bathroom was very noisy. We had NO HOT WATER. The tv wouldn't come on but the desk person walked me through getting it to work. The wall light by the beds would not come on. It flickered once but I could not get it to come on.
