Overnight stay in Central Brasov

Stopped off for one night at Casa Albert as we had eaten at Bistro Albert several times and wanted to try the rooms. Food was excellent as before with nice breakfast served in the bistro. Location is very central within easy reach of Piata Sfatului, Black Church, Town Hall etc. Room had tea/coffee facilities and proper bath.

Cosy & comfortable in the heart of old Brasov

Loved absolutely everything! Outstanding location, exceptional customer care and service, comfortable spacious room leading to quaint little courtyard, very good menu options for breakfast and great value for money - I can highly recommend this establishment. Loved the quirky & tastefully decorated bistro, with romantic ambiance, a super menu and great wine list. Antonella and her staff provided excellent customer care worthy of congratulation.

Very Satisfying Stay!

It was short-only 1 night- but the room was by cute. We had requeste twin beds, but they only had a large queen bed, but they were quick to offer a separate duvee cover. The wifi was not working great, that was our only complaint. It is hard to find the hotel because it is a cute, narrow street off the main square, and twice we walked right past it. If you take a cab, they will not be able to pick up or drop off right in front the of the hotel. You will have to walk as it is located in a pedestrian only zone. We also loved the dining arrangement in the cave/basement and breakfast allowed you to order whatever you wanted.

Close to every thing and in a pedestrian zone

Great young people run this place with a high standard of excellence. Charming place and if it costs a little more, then treat yourself. So relaxed. Good food in the restaurant.

Hidden charm

LOVED this place. When the taxi dropped us off in front of a bank, we were a bit confused. So cozy and right on the pedestrian street. The rooms overlook a courtyard restaurant with jasmine blossoms and other climbing vines. The food is excellent although the restaurant doesn't seem to be too busy. Sitting to enjoy a glass of wine while reading is perfectly acceptable. Great service.

Excellent hotel in central Brasov

Casa Albert is set back off the main street in Brasov. It is very quiet and the room we had, the Gold room, was lovely. Very clean and comfortable, with unique decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even accompanied us and showed us where we could park our car for free like the locals! There are clearly some improvements going on at the moment but there was no disruption or noise. It is in an excellent location and good value for money. The cost doesn't include breakfast but there are numerous places nearby to eat. All in all an excellent hotel for the money.

Great location

Location was great but no breakfast was a problem - not much open before 8am. Bedside lamp didn't work. But the young couple running the place were fantastic and spoke excellent English.

the perfect choice - quiet yet central location

As soon as I arrived, I knew I had made the perfect choice of hotel - my room overlooked a lovely little courtyard which was quiet yet just off the main pedestrian street, which leads down to the square in the heart of the old town. The room was light and airy and decorated with a mural of the old buildings in the square. The bathroom was large, modern and very clean. The hotel does not provide food, but this is no problem as the main street is full of cafes and patissseries. The staff were extremely helpful and recommended places to eat and visit. If I return to Brasov, I will definitely stay here again.

Ruhige Lage mitten im Zentrum

Obwohl das Hotel mitten im Zentrum ist, war es sehr ruhig. Perfekte Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Herrliche Zimmer mit schönen Wandbildern der Stadt. Sehr grosse Zimmer mit separater Sitzecke. Hilfsbereite und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Zimmer im Allgemeinen sauber. Nachts ist es aufgrund der Aussenbeleuchtung nicht ganz dunkel. Keine Klimaanlage, aber super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Great location and very clean, comfortable hotel

Fantastic location - loads of restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. Main square about a 2 minite walk. Hotel is very clean and the room we had was a good size and very comfortable. Staff not always around, but were very helpful and had a lot of local knowledge. They organised a driver (George) to take us to Bran Castle - very reasonably priced and George was a brilliant guide, thoroughly recommend the tour.
