"There was an issue with payments going through as we used a third party. A lot of undue stress, having to sort it out for both stays when the emails were asking for payment again. Maintenance was needed to refit the handrail twice. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean."

"Really enjoyed our relaxing stay. Lots of attention to detail. Very private spot. Weather was hot so we enjoyed the very comfy sunbeds and were able to eat outside, enjoying the afternoon/evening sunshine. The hosts had provided a large fan in the room, which was most welcome. Plenty of drinks in the fridge and various snacks in the room (crisps/chocolate) Just bring your own food. Hosts are on hand if you have any issues. We enjoyed walking along the canal & exploring Cromwell Bottom...

There were plenty of options for eating within walking distance. We were always able to park at the back of the hotel. Friendship Hotel suited us well for our short break."
