"We enjoyed a lovely one night stay at Agents House. We were met with a very warm welcome from the owners and were made to feel instantly at home. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice of home cooked dishes. Location is excellent, on a quiet back road and only a few miles from Hay on Wye. "Lovely maisonette. Bedroom, living room/kitchen, bathroom, very very nice. Nice to have DVD player too with a small selection of DVDs. Really nice touch the bowl of fruit, half-pint of milk, bit of coffee (no tea), biscuits and crisps. I gave it a 4 star overall, would have given 4.5 star if I could, would easily have been 5 star if: 1) Fix the potholes on the small road from Madley Plants (understand this is probably someone elses responsibility). 2) Shower doesn't stay in its elevated holder...

"Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...
