"All the staff was super nice and the place was quiet, beds were comfy and roomnhad AC. it was really nice to have a private bathroom in the door, though they were bathrooms outside in in each floor. Noce view from the restaurant upstairs and chilled atmosphere. If you are looking for hostel parties and fuckery, this is not the place for you. I got the bus towards La Fortuna just down the street. Neighborhood seem safe, but Im also street smart (it's San Jose, so just be a cautious traveller)"

"Engaging staff member at check-in in the early evening got us set up on our hotel quickly. The shuttle was fine. The hotel is in a strange area but is enclosed by a gate. The doors are actual-key entry so don't forget to lock yours at night. The beer garden was great and it seemed to appeal to a young adult travel crowd, but our family of a teen and tween was comfortable. The rooms are nothing to write home about but they are clean, the A/c works, and the water was warm."
