Great Location
Easy check in & great apartment except for shower breaking off when turned on & hitting me in the head. Rug in lounge room dangerous with curled end, which we had to be careful not to trip on. Reported it to reception immediately, however the shower wasn’t fixed until the next day, so we couldn’t use the ensuite & had to share the main bathroom with family. Disappointing as we deliberately booked an apartment with 2 bathrooms. Great Location with easy access to everything.

Generally ok however felt a little cheap inside and cleanliness was not great. Floor appeared to have not been mopped in a long time and outside patio was unusable due to being so dirty. Property was chosen as it was listed as family friendly but with a young child, not being able to close doors to ajoining rooms (all sliding doors you could not latch or lock) made it hard work.

Close to the Story Bridge and Howard St Wharf and the shopping precinct. Congested buildings though and no views.

Great Fortitude Valley option
Unit clean, quiet & spacious for 1- 2 people. Well centred for shopping on James St, am walk on New Farm riverwalk or dinner at Howard Smith wharf area. Train 15min walk or catch a ferry at HSW. Warm, friendly & helpful reception staff. Excellent french- style restaurant next door for all meals & also french- style cafe/ at doorstep.

The property was in a very good condition and the reception was very helpful. Only 2 issues with the property: 1. The entire apartment had a very uncomfortable smell 2. The shower was quite bad. It had the lowest pressure and output-was very difficult to take a bath properly

The apartment was pretty good, some small things were broken (e.g.washing machine door handle) but overall it was good. The customer service was terrible. I got a letter delivered and one of the staff let themselves into my apartment while I was getting changed to put the letter inside. There were so many better options to get the letter to me. After talking to the staff at reception following this incident there was no satisfactory apology or explanation. I would not recommend.

The lift was broken down and we had to carry suitcases 4 flights of stairs. We were not informed. Neighbouring room light was on all night streaming into main bedroom hence no sleep

The washing machine was not available and we were not told upon arrival. Staff were helpful but having clothes washing in room was one of main reasons for the booking. The kitchen utensils and cutlery all required cleaning before use. The lighting in the bathroom was faulty. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedclothes old and tatty. The carpets were dirty. The iron and ironing board are way past replacement date. The dishwasher stank. The high cost does not align to the average quality facilities. The staff however are very lovely and easy to work with.

Good location walk to everywhere. Apartment cleanliness is average. It’s behind a bigger hotel so very noisy every early morning, around 4-5am when the deliver/ garbage trucks come. I chose the option of paying a deposit at booking and the rest at the hotel when check in. However 2 days before our arrival date the hotel already called and demanded full payment or booking is canceled. They also charged high credit card fee without it being mentioned on Hotel.com.

Clean apartment, some noisy guests but was a weekend and in Fortitude Valley so to be expected. Black out curtains in the bedroom would be a good investment. Overall a good stay.

Needs attention
Cleaning left a lot to be desired as there was still water in bowls stacked in the cupboards. Clumps of hair behind the sofa, extrenely filthy vents. The showers are super uncomfortable felt like needles on the skin which is unfortunate. Washing machine and oven shoukd have user manuals nearby as googling manuals is a pain to do when you dont know make and model of appliances and you dont eant to break someone elses property. Only true plus side was the reception staff were amazing.

A little disappointed
Usually i stay in their sister property the Atrio which is much nicer. The washing machine in the miro was broken and the units are very noisy. Upstairs could be heard at all hours of the night. Which is sad because their sister property is so much nicer.

Excellent apartments, would recommend
Great, well appointed apartment, second stay here and would definitely book again when I’m back in Brisbane. Recommend requested a front facing apartments as these have balconies which are external (ie can see the sky), whereas the internal ones just face another big building. Stayed here for 2 weeks. Lovely service Nicole and Adam were great, had a couple of issues with the Wifi, TV and some cleaning and they were resolved immediately.
