Great location, restaurants within walking distance, coffee shop downstairs. Nice view, however would request a unit higher than Level 1. Our unit had a palm tree blocking some of the view. Great size apartment, plenty of room and heaps of storage space. Huge bathrooms with so much storage space. Trolleys available in the carpark for getting luggage up to the room. Decent sized carparks. Full size fridge/freezer. Great size for 2A 2C. The apartment desperately needs some updating. The bedding/quilts are so old, worn and dated and need refreshing. Cheap metal outdoor setting not very comfortable to sit on out on the balcony. Exposed wires in the bathroom light which are dangerous. Drawers in the cupboards are too musty to store clothes in; they need a good clean and airing. Ā We would definitely still stay here again for the size of the room and the location; but for the price, the bedding and furnishings need to be updated and refreshed.

Whilst this property has an ideal location much needs to be improved in the apartment itself. It was not the same furniture and apartment that was picture for the one bedroom partial sea view that we booked. The furniture is very basis and needs to be replaced. The apartment also needs some maintenance done and also a deep clean of most surfaces. The exhaust in the bathroom didnā€™t work and was full of dirt and dust. The bathroom sink also didnā€™t drain. We were very disappointed given the priced paid for this apartment.

Quiet building with good amenities including the gym and pool. We had a 7th floor apartment with an ocean view. Great location near the beach and restaurants.

I've stayed at the Proximity Apartments before and have always been happy. The apartment we were offered this time did not face the Ocean but the water could be seen if you turned your head sideways when leaning on the balcony rail....:) Overall we were very happy with our stay and would stay at these apartments again. The only slight issue (and it's not a big one) is that some of the items in the apartment could be replaced. The little indoor foldable clothesline was broken and there were some limitations with crockery options. But again very happy and would recommend Proximity Apartments to other travellers.

Great location right in the centre of everything and across the road to the beach. Superb views. Very courteous, helpful management. Our 2 brm apartment was very well set out and nicely furnished. Would definitely recommend.

Kim and her Husband were Amazing! They were able to accomodate my Husband with limited mobility, The room had hand rails and a ramp and the facilities were great! THE SHOWER!!!! was AMAZING!!!!! The pressure, cleanliness and just layout was beautiful! We will definately miss the shower šŸ˜‚šŸ˜ Other than that, Everything was exceptional! Thank you Kim & also Fiona for being so accomodating and wonderful! Bless šŸ™

We paid for an Ocean View room. The ocean was not viewable from the main room because it was south-facing. The ocean could be viewed from part of the balcony. However, the balcony mainly overlooked the rear service area of the very large RSL and cafe, with a very, very loud drone from the air conditioning and industrial scale roof extraction system making the balcony unusable and us unable to leave the doors open. The view of the service area was very ugly. I feel grossly misled by what was offered. Upon our polite enquire to the reception staff it was suggested that somehow it was our fault for booking through a third-party (Expedia) rather than directly. We were also advised that the property was full and hence we could not be moved. Whilst the apartment was nice enough and well equipped we would not have chosen to pay to stay there if it had been honestly advertised as a city (or industrial) view (and noise).

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment and it was very spacious and very clean. Having 2 bathroom a was a plus. The property is in an area where everything is easily accessible. Like shopping , dining and good for families. Will definitely be staying there again on my next trip.

The property is an older type. We got there early but after 30 minutes weā€™re allowed to check in. The room we were given was at the side rear , not the ocean view on our booking. We didnā€™t complain as we were only staying 2 nights and weather was poor. The room overlooked some sort of shops rear access. There was an Australian legion as well so at 0500 the bottle collection took place. There was also building works going on starting at 0700. The room itself was dated and the paint work needed doing. The kitchen was well appointed, little piece of pizza sauce on bin cupboard door. Bathroom again was older but what a shower. Powerful. Area was bit run down, everything seemed to close at 1500. The room had heaters, the one in the lounge area sounded on its last legs and needed attention.

The location is very good. Great views and everything you need / want s close by. The unit appeared a little tired. The roll down blinds in the unit were in very bad condition, including mould on the blinds especially in the master bedroom. You didn't notice during the day but at night with lights on you can see the mould.

The property is in an excellent location close to the main dining area and weekend markets. Taking in the sea views with meals on the balcony was just beautiful.
