"We had a quick overnight before boarding our cruise. The hotel is great. Right next to a shopping mall, very convenient location. The staff are fantastic, very responsive and helpful. The facilities are modern and well maintained. I liked the decoration too. We will definitely stay here again. THANK YOU!"

"We arrived shortly before midnight and the staff was very helpful in getting us checked in quickly and finding food. The hotel rooms were very nice and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location near Old Town and the cruise port were ideal. Highly recommended!!!"

"The staff was very helpful and happy to assist. Was pleasantly impressed by the relaxing spa for a small charge that we could use for both days of our stay. The hot breakfast could have more choices for vegan though. But overall we had a wonderful break. We would come back!"

"Overall reasonably good. Room was fine, but the air conditioning didn't work (a problem in a number of rooms that weekend). Check-in was very slow, said to be because of a new computer system. Quiet, sea view (it was 5th floor and extra). Also, and as with a previous room, the shower drained very slowly and the outlet was pretty bunged up with hair (don't look!). We paid for parking with the booking and since there was no space in the hotel car park we got a voucher to park in the road outside, which was fine. We rarely saw any spaces in the car park. Nice to have a bar for a night cap, and breakfast (also included) was pretty good, we were just amused by the lethargy of the staff around there. Not sure we've ever seen two people work so slowly, chatting on the side. At one point I counted six tables that needed clearing and quests walking round looking for tables and eventually clearing their own. Not experienced things this bad for a while. We stayed two nights and experienced the same each morning."

Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst, New Forest

"We loved the hotel, however in the warm weather the fans do nothing to cool the room down enough to get a good night's sleep. We mentioned to staff who adjusted the fan but it seemed minimum temp was 18 degrees! Couldn't get the shaver sockets to work in bathroom but luckily we had an adapter. One of the blinds in our room was missing it's winder so had to roll it up manually in order to get some air into room. Often forgot to give us towels or full quota of towels which was annoying. Nice to have bottled water and coffee machine plus biscuits. Hairdryer was also good (Dyson), Breakfast was plentiful and very nice with lots of choices, although they were not good at replenishing supplies. Staff lovely and helpful. Outside bar only open mainly on a Saturday which was disappointing as we stayed Mon to Fri. Location was brilliant and our room comfy and in a quiet area. Shower nice but needed to be more powerful. We used the smaller shower head to get a better shower, ironically! Sad to leave but will return one day."
