Hotel Independent di Brownell

"We stayed here on the way home from a family vacation in Colorado. Had 2 rooms. Kids, grandkids, and seniors all found rooms and beds comfy and food delicious. Staff in restaurant was friendly and accommodating. The key free entry and no lobby check-in....went straight to room with personal key code texted to us... made this a very relaxing and pleasant experience. We have added this location to our "favorite places" to stay list."

"The Bissing House was a DELIGHT. I didn't set out looking for a place like this, but feel VERY fortunate that I found it. Warm and inviting, the place is full of charm. Hays, KS is a really lovely city, and this place exemplifies that. Of special note, the breakfast (with a lovely couple that was traveling a similar path as me, Missouri to Colorado) was exceptional. We all talked about what a better experience this was than a hotel -- and more affordable! Thank you, Bissing house! I'll stop...
