"The first room had bugs and dead bugs all over the room. Bathroom had a spider on the ceiling and smelt musty. Second room was a bit cleaner but the shower curtain was dirty along with the shower floor. Blinds and curtain didn’t fully cover for privacy"

"Okay for a one night stay in order to be near family we were visiting. Room smelled musty, bathroom was good sized and seemed clean but room itself felt a bit shabby. Front desk staff member when we checked in was polite enough but not friendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there."

"Abdullahi Aden, at the front desk, was just wonderful! If it wasn't for him, this hotel would have received a really negative review from us. He was helpful in every way, from restaurant suggestions to taking our photos after an evening out. From first contact at the desk, he was smiling, cheerful, & just a picture of welcome to your establishment. He was there all the time, it seemed, so you are really lucky to have him. I would consider a raise to him as he is a huge asset to you. The...

"Staff is great. Very kind and willing to help. This is a solid stay if you’re looking for the basics done very well. If you’re looking for luxury of function… you might pass. Perfect for people traveling with a dog or two. There is a large field adjacent to the parking lot which makes potty time very convenient. Overall we loved the place because it was located well, quiet, clean and comfortable. Rooms are small. 👍"

"Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
