"There was lots of trash outside of the main entrance with an over-flowing garbage. It remained that way when we checked out the following day. Also, the bathtub looked dirty although I imagine it was actually cleaned. They need to seriously update the rooms on the property."

"I enjoy my stay at this Hampton Inn location. It sits across from the Mills at Jersey Gardens which is a great shopping location. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to give special props to the front desk attendant named Key, she really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. Our trip was bittersweet and we ran into a few obstacles that day, which caused me to have a brief meltdown. And she comforted me as well as helped makw sure my check in process went smoothly. "

"Here’s a polished, personable, and concise version of your hotel review: This was my second time staying at the Kenilworth Hotel - Airport West, and once again I had a great stay. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and we appreciated the luggage rack, iron, and ironing board in the room. The check-in staff was very kind and welcoming, and the evening staff was also pleasant and helpful when they provided us with a toothbrush we forgot to bring. The only disappointment was that the AC in Room 231 did not cool the room very well. Other than that, everything was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this location because it’s very quiet, which was the best part for us — plus the free parking is a great bonus!"

"This was a pleasant surprise when we happened to find it. The exterior and interior were well maintained. The room was nice and a generous size. It was comfortable and clean. Over 18 hours that we were there, we spoke with three different staff members. All of them were very friendly and accommodating. In short, when I make my next trip to New Jersey, I will make a reservation to stay at that particular location."

"Plenty of parking and even though it's next to a highway it was very quiet in the room. Breakfast was normal for this class hotel and the staff was great. The only problem was chasing down ice, the only working machine was on the 3rd floor."

"I usually don’t leave reviews, but this was not a good experience. I was there for one night attending the funeral and burial of a close relative and just wanted to go back to my room and go to sleep and the smell of marijuana in the hallway and seeping in my door was so strong and I informed the staff and they did absolutely nothing about it. Between broken lightbulbs and broken floorboards in my room and broken ice machine on my floor and breakfast that gave me a horribly stomach issue, I will certainly not be staying here again and really wish there was a way to get a refund. "
