Nice place to stay!

The room was very nice and spacious. The view from the balcony was amazing. The staffs were nice and helpful, especially at the restaurant.

Remote but safe, English speaking staff

Some of the photos have to be updated; the Bulgari skin care products are not in fact provided as per advertised pictures. However, the room was heated to the point where we needed to turn it lower. Hot water was available with one exception when it was luke warm but resolved while we were absent from the room. No breakfast or food machine. This is a residential long term hotel of upper scale. Community is gated and security staff present; video cameras give a good overview of the surroundings from the inside and a feeling of safety from the outside. Staff was speaking English and was courteous at all times. Phone was not working in the room but the wake up call knocking to the door worked up just well. However, we were uncomfortable knowing that if an emergency arise, we would have had a difficult situation at hand. Kitchen was well equipped except for detergent and sponge to wash dishes. Big refrigerator available (empty, a wasted opportunity of earning extra cash, especially for bottled water). Taxis are called (ensure they start the meter and the displayed hourly rate is reflected as printed advertised on the doors). Fare to downtown was about 15-20 Lei (RON) which is approx USD 5-8. Would stay here again with pleasure considering that it's quiet and close to the airport (about 20 min ride early in the morning). Thanks!

Отель в центре города. Бесплатная охраняемая парковка. Одно неудобство, вечером не работает ресторан. Пришлось идти в город, что-бы покушать.

Close to Romexpo Exhibition Center

I have stayed in this apartment hotel several times for not more than three nights. As a traditional hotel, it is not. It would be useful if you stayed a number of nights as each apartment has excellent cooking facilities and there are not many restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel food is expensive and not that special. It is however convenient for Baneasa airport.

This was a great place. We got the 4 person apartment and we did not expect it to be so big. It was a very nice room with a great view. It was cheap to get to the center and hotel staff was great. No wifi in the rooms but you do have a hard wire connection (free of charge). Wifi was in the lobby and restaurants. Will be staying here again for sure!

The Monte Carlo Palace; Not a Palace.

For a tourist. The location is horrible. The ad is very miss leading. This hotel is not even close to any of the attraction 10 to 15 Km. You have to get a taxi. And if its winter time and lots of snow its so far out the way that taxis will not come. Water for half of our stay would not get hot. The restaurant only had one or two items for dinner out of about 50. There is no wireless Internet except in the lobby. The in room wireless is ok but not real high speed. The front desk staff was really helpful. The Management sucked. Just very rude and lack customer service. I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. Pictures are very misleading and the ad is misleading as well stating that its close to attractions. Don't let the price fool you. You will pay more in taxi fees getting to places all day and eventually will end up paying just as much or more than hotels that are closer.

Monte Carlo Palace - looks OK but not functional

The room I stayed in had two rooms and a bathroom with a very expensive jet shower. However, nothing was convenient to use - the sitting room had a settee, chair and chest of drawers, but TV and internet connection were in the bedroom, so the sitting room had no use at all. Although dinner was brought to my room (the hotel dining room was not attractive), there was no table to put it on., so I had to sit with it on my lap. Perhaps the manager should try staying for a night in the hotel to test its functionality.

Bien que l'hôtel n'est pas des mieux situé, mon séjour fut parfait. Les services étaient à la hauteur de ce que j'espérais (room service, nettoyage de la chambre, personnel...) et pour ce qui est du prix, on ne peut mieux faire! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel surtout pour ceux qui partent longtemps en Roumanie.
